Technical details for cultivation

An acid to neutral soil will provide best growing conditions (pH =7,0). It needs a lot of mineral elements and it can stand plenty of salinity much more than Rhododendron and Azalea. If it si planted in flower boxes or directly in the ground, it is advisable to feed in large quantity with organic and mineral fertilisers which release nitrogen slowly.
The soil must alwais be loose to allow a good aeration of the roots. To provide a good and everlasting flowering, and  to prevent the bust from falling down just before the first flowering, it is advisable to supply the soil or the leaves with plenty of iron and micro elements in summer.
