Technical details for cultivation

It's a plant that doesn't like direct sunlight, but it prefers a shaded position. The soil or the cultivation substratum must be acid with a pH =5.0, organic and well-draining to aloow the strong roots to develop well.
The feeding is the same as the one for rhododendron, even if a larger quantity of phosphorous greatly improves the flowering. As all the other acid-loving plants, it suffers if it is water-logged with water left in the dish under the plant.
